Currently this is the busiest area in Taipei, Taiwan
We call it "Eastern District"
But it was not so prosperous here 40 years ago

The economic boom in this place improved and even built a department store
This place was originally clean and quiet,the roads were neatly and refreshing. 40 years later, it has become crowded with colorful lights and the roads have become pit and scars everywhere.
This place has evolved from a neat, clean, quiet and conservative city to a vibrant and crowded social environment everywhere. And I think although some people today are enjoying the bustle and bustle, but at the same time, they also miss the tranquility, peace and simplicity.
